Social Media Manager

• Four years ago we opened a boudoir studio in the West Loop with a simple idea: donate every session fee to a women’s shelter.

We’re Purple Boudoir. We’re hiring a part-time Social Media Manager.

• This is for a photographer who gets boudoir — the emotion, the trust, the transformation — and wants to grow inside a real, profitable studio.

Not just a side gig. An apprenticeship.

• You’ll take client stories — interviews, photos, clips, voice notes — and turn them into posts that make other women think, “that could be me.”
• Edit short-form video (CapCut)
• Post consistently (4–7/week)
• Come into the studio occasionally
• You’ll work directly with Jacob (founder/lead photographer), learning how the business actually works: marketing, client experience, sales.

We’re looking for someone

• Early in their photography journey
• Excited to learn and improve fast
• Tech-comfortable (AI tools, editing, systems)
• Aligned with our mission — not building their own brand on the side here
• Must be female due to intimate and vulnerable nature of the work
